Deutsch? I like
*all lines taken from truncated bits of lines in frank o’hara’s lunch poems. i’ve got the city lights pocket edition, which has wider pages to accommodate o’hara’s long lines. but some lines are still too long and had to be dropped at the end of a sentence to the line below, justified to extreme right. i try to include only lines that really look like they had been dropped because the pages were simply too short, not ones that look like o’hara deliberately dropped to the line below for effect. it’s a struggle of of course to work which lines are dropped by the printer and which by o’hara, but sometimes one just has to plow on.
