Learning to Love Below or Go Back

i was reading frank o’hara’s lunch poems i was trying to go to sleep
i was thinking how did he get the lines to sound so hurried
maybe he was hurrying when he wrote them i read stories about how he stormed into stationery stores and quickly wrote his head on unoccupied typewriters
—wrote his head is that a bushism ?
i envy his flying thru the streets of new york
in 1959
—never like that fake possessive construction ‘his flying’, whats wrong with ‘him’ ?
me flying now thats a sentence i like
then i can alight on an unoccupied blackberry
and update my status on facebook
what am i doing now ?
