semakin lama semakin susah menemuimu
di antara segala macam hiper-keisengan kota ini
bayangkan beratnya menahan godaan
memesan mozza whopper dan curly cries
bayangkan susahnya tidak mencari-cari kelucuan
pada baliho the kingdom dengan jennifer garner yang kelihatan seperti edward said

mmm-a-l is this too personal?

duluakuseringmelihatmudisepanjangjalancikiniraya
dengan pisau di pinggang dan frank o’hara
—lunch poems, edisi city lights
menyembul di kantong belakang celana khaki gombrongmu
kadang-kadang kau lemparkan pisau itu ke tengah jalan
dan ujungnya akan mencungkil sebongkah aspal
kadangkadangkadangkadangkadangkadangkal
-a kau coba paksakan membeli hotdog dan coklat malt
bersama hantu maïakovski dan segumpal awan di celana dalam
-mu

aku hanya bisa bergantung pada sekali-sekali
tersesat di sebuah restoran ye olde
di dalam ruangan famili yang kosong melompong
melihat ke pojok, dan:
kursi kayu tua berpunggung rotan
koyak-moyak

(seperti sebuah set film hantu
yang benar-benar dihantui
dan ditinggal (mati) semua kru)

kau meringkuk di atas kursi itu
mengambil ancang-ancang
menerkamku!

  1. oh not the old chair please. i since then haven't been able to 'eject the abject', 'throw out … that insolent thing across the border' and i'm now overridden by the horrific. somebody please restore the symbolic order.

    hahahaha

btw, i think 'hiper-keisengan' and those references to jennifer garner and edward said are sheer brilliance. and somehow i can hear the safari?

  3. can you put in the LOL icon here? :))

she's excellent isn't she? we're gonna totally mess with people's minds! be prepared to talk business sometime nxt week. and some serious booze intake afterwards. hahah.

but this time i prefer looking at a plush sofa somewhere within the comfortable darkness of your common bar rather than a lonely rickety chair whispering “i'm here. i know you're there.”
