im fixing an aeroplane in my room
the wings are folded like sheets
the instrument panel—empty drink holders
not quite
theres a half drunk root beer in the directional gyro—
i like fixing aeroplanes
its like doing the sunday crosswords
or reading a really great book
like a dostoevsky
your head ceases to exist
you forget this thing is supposed to fly
or that to do that again
i will have to pull down the walls of my room first
